Final Newsletter of the 25/26 Winter Season!
What a long, strange trip it’s been. As we wrap up the 25/26 winter season, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for the role you played in making this another truly meaningful year at Mt Hood Meadows!
This season asked more of us than usual. With limited snowfall, it would have been easy for the experience to fall short, but that’s not what happened. Because of your dedication, teamwork, and positive energy, our guests still found joy, connection, and memorable moments on the mountain.
What stood out most this year wasn’t the conditions, it was the people. Day in and day out, you showed up ready to adapt, support one another, and create the kind of environment that defines who we are here at “Your Mountain Home”.
From the creeks at HRM to the rocks atop Cascade, and everywhere in between, thank you for your effort, your resilience, and the pride you bring to your work. You made a difference this season in ways that go far beyond the snow.

Safety Corner
As we wind down winter 25-26, I want to thank everyone for their efforts to be more mindful and avoid injury this season. Your focus has yielded a genuine decrease in injury severity from last year, in spite of unforgiving conditions and high collision risk. We’ve also seen continuous focus on safety awareness in our shop areas, where tool and object injuries have really fallen since last summer. Great work!
Let’s end it on a strong note – please keep your safety awareness HERE until it’s time to pivot into whatever your summer brings! Your mountain home will remain, ready for your return when next winter’s epic dump arrives. And your return is important – we’ve identified a clear association between team knowledge and reduced injuries. Plan now to come on back! And get ready to Get Shreddy-er next winter – we’re building-in upgrades and soliciting greater participation so this program can meet the demands of next winter’s deeeeps. Thanks again, we’ll see you then!

“Our visit to the slopes was simply spectacular from start to finish. The snow quality was perfect for skiing with complete confidence, and the grooming of the runs is impeccable, guaranteeing a safe and fun day. Furthermore, the excellent service from the staff in the rental area and at the lifts made a huge difference; they were always ready to help with a smile. The facilities are comfortable, and the atmosphere on the mountain is unbeatable for unwinding. Without a doubt, it’s a must-visit destination to return to every season and enjoy a day full of adrenaline and beautiful scenery.”
